The Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for today, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. and will serve as the Grand Opening of the expansion of the Tennessee College. The newly constructed building will be used to house many of the health care programs, to include Practical Nursing and Surgical Technology. The expansion will also house the new programs of Forestry and Ag Technology and Power Sports Technology.

The celebration will also include the Chancellors’ Philanthropic Award presentation to an avid active supporter of higher education and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hohenwald. The deserving recipient is Mayor Wes Ward and the Town of Linden. Chancellor Flora Tydings will attend the event to present the award. Mayor Ward has given generously of his time and financially for the implementation of an Instructional Service Center to be located in Perry County to house Industrial Maintenance and most recently, Welding Technology.

The public is invited to attend the celebration.
