"Coach Sharp is a proven leader and developer of young men," said Principal Kevin Eady. "What stood out to me during the selection process was not just his desire to win football games but his focus on the development of youth. His former players are leaders in their respective communities, and many have become successful coaches, themselves. Coach Sharp will build the kind of talented and diverse coaching staff necessary to help our student athletes reach their full potential. We are eager to welcome Coach Sharp and his wife, Sue to our community!"

Bobby Sharp has over 40 years of coaching experience, including the last 34 seasons as head football coach at Lewis County High School where he compiled 280 wins, ranking third amongst active coaches in Tennessee. He has compiled 13 seasons of at least 10 wins, 12 region championships, 29 straight playoff appearances and coached multiple Mr. Football finalists, including 2007 winner, Dakota Crews.
