This weeks library events

The following activities are scheduled for the upcoming week at Lewis County Public Library and Archives:

Painting with Friends, Thursday, June 23, 6 p.m., The Depot, Becki Walton and the Friends of the Library will be holding a free painting class, sponsored by The Real Milk Paint Co. Space is limited, call 931-796-5365 to reserve your space.

Elephant Watersports, Friday, June 24, 10 a.m. The Elephant Sanctuary will be showing us some fun ways that elephants enjoy the water. This will be a water-heavy program. Bring a towel.

Ollie the Otter Story Time, Tuesday, June 28, 10 a.m. Today’s Story Time will include a special guest, Ollie the Otter! Ollie will teach us about seatbelt and car seat safety.

Cleverlys Community Concert, Friday, July 1, 5 p.m., City Parking Lot, (36 North Maple, Hohenwald, TN 38462) Family fun starts at 5 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks after the concert. Bring a lawn chair. Family fun will include waterslides and other inflatables, Lewis and Clarke Express train rides, and face painting. The Cleverlys are a one-of-a-kind comedy/music blend. They tour nationally, performing at music venues, PAC’S, and some of the nation’s largest festivals like Stagecoach, Telluride, CMA Music Fest and even The Grand Ole Opry. The Summer Community Concert is being held as a part of the 2022 Summer Reading Program: “Oceans of Possibility: Streaming through Lewis County.” Free admission compliments of the City of Hohenwald and Friends of the Lewis County Library.
