Record number of Dixie Youth are headed to the State Championship

Dixie Youth coaches and players have set a record this year with a total of five teams advancing to the State Championship. This is the most teams Lewis County has ever had going into the State Championships at one time!
The teams moving onto State are three baseball teams and two softball. Five and six year old softball team, the Sweetees, will be playing in Henderson on Friday, July 8, 2022. The seven and eight year old softball team, the Darlings, will be competing in Waynesboro on Friday, July 8, 2022.
