Farmer's Home Furniture hosted their grand opening on Thursday, June 30, 2022, to welcome the public and city/county officials into their new store located on East Main Street.

After Gary Vincent, who set up the store for our local branch, introduced him, Hohenwald store manager, Morris Allnatt, gladly told a short history of Farmer's Home Furniture. It was founded by Sherwin Glass in 1949 in Soperton, Georgia, with the idea of making luxury furniture affordable for those who could not typically afford it.
