Mr. and Mrs. Spurlock announce marriage

Taylor Shae Williams of Metropolis, Illinois and Christopher Michael Spurlock of Hohenwald were united in marriage at two o'clock in the afternoon at The Southern Charm Event Barn in Troy, Tennessee. Morgan Owen, Bert Spann and Paul Raines officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jolynn Williams of Metropolis, Illinois and Robin Williams of Cairo, Illinois. She is the granddaughter of the late John and Carol Velleco and Ann Williams of Cairo, Illinois.

The groom is the son of Kimbery and Terry Latham of Hohenwald and Michael and Samantha Spurlock of Linden. He is the grandson of Paul and Martha Raines of Hohenwald and Vickie Hunt and the late Lendoll Hunt of Linden.

Taylor is a 2018 graduate of Massoc County High School in Metropolis and a 2022 graduate of UT Martin. She will return this fall as a graduate assistant pursuing her Master's Degree in Literacy Education. She will also serve as the Women's Campus Missionary for the BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry).

Chris is a 2016 graduate of Lewis County High School and a 2020 graduate of UT Martin. He is employed by Greenfield School in Greenfield, TN where he teaches and coaches football and basketball.

The couple chose to honeymoon in Tampa, Florida before returning to Martin where they will reside.
