Danny Neal Bates, 81, passed away Saturday morning July 30, 2022, at Lifecare in Centerville.
Danny was born July 16, 1941, to the late Jason Clifford and Pauline Hensley Bates of Hohenwald, the first son and second child of thirteen children - nine sisters and three brothers.
He was retired from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as an Agent for the United States of America. He was recruited in college but delayed his post until he fulfilled a promise to the Lewis County School Superintendent A.B. Sisco to teach at Lewis County High. During his tenure with the...
