Elton "Peanut" Ragsdale III

A beloved soul was called home.Elton Maxwell Ragsdale III, age 57, passed on August 18, 2022 at his home in Columbia. He was surrounded with love by his wife and children when he departed to join his heavenly father.

He was born December 3, 1964 in Maury County, Tennessee, to Elton Maxwell Ragsdale Jr. and Gladys Beatrice Wright Ragsdale. Peanut attended Mt. Pleasant High School. His fondest memories were playing practical jokes, fishing, and being with friends and family. He enjoyed watching Nascar, wrestling, Atlanta Braves baseball and Alabama football.
