Kerri Dawn Ellison was born on August 11, 1983, in Columbus, Mississippi. She passed from this life on August 31, 2022, at her home at the age of 39.

Kerri's kids were the most important things in her life. She was a proud dance mom to her two girls and proud rodeo mom to not only her son but to his rodeo friends, too. Kerri had been fearless her whole life. She grew up following her daddy around the ranch - doing everything that he did. She could bid on cattle and work a ranch better than most men could.

She is survived by her parents, Kenny and Patsy Ellison and Larry and Rebecca Bennett; her three awesome redheads, Bentley Matthew, Briley Ann, and Bailey Kate; sisters, Kristy (Trent) Barnett, Katie (Jamie) White, and Toni Franklin; nephews, Preston Perdue, Hayden Barnett, Tyler Brooks; grandmother, Mary Jane Ellison; and fiance, Jason Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Ashley Brooks, and brother, Brandon Ellison.

Visitation with Kerri's family was on Friday, September 2, at McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 3, in the chapel at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial followed in Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
