LCHS Golf

The Lewis County High School Panther and Lady Panther golfers traveled to Lobelville and Buffalo River Country Club for a match against Perry County, Loretto, and Hampshire.

In boys’ play Loretto came out with the win, shooting a score of 156, Perry County finished second at 174, Hampshire was third at 183, and Lewis County fourth with a 195. Carter Webb carded the low score for the Lewis County boys at 39, J.D. Wood finished with a 47, Braxton Clark 53, and Everett Bates 56.

On the girls’ side Lewis County and Perry County tied with a team score of 92, and Loretto finished third at 108. Abby Carroll of Lewis County was low-medalist for the girls’, finishing her day with a 41. Peyton James finished with a 51.

The LCHS golfers hosted a match at Hohenwald Municipal with teams from Hampshire, Fairview, and East Hickman on Tuesday, August 30th.

In boys’ play it was Fairview that came out on top with a team score of 128, Hampshire finished the day at 130, good enough for second. Lewis County was third with a team score of 157, and East Hickman fourth at 163. J.D. Wood finished the day with the low score for the Panthers, carding a 47. Braxton Clark finished with a 52, Everett Bates had a 58, and Braylon Bean finished with a 65.

In girls’ play the Lady Panthers finished first with a 101, East Hickman, at 120, was second, and Fairview finished third with a 121. Abby Carroll was low-medalist for the girls’, finishing her day for the Lady Panthers shooting a 43. Peyton James finished with a 48, Brylee Whitehead a 70, and Kierston Trull a 71.
