Q.) Where did you grow up?

A.) Here in good ole H-Town.

Q.)What is one of your fondest childhood memories?

A.) Some of my favorite memories are from cheerleading when I was in high school.

Q.) What did you want to be as a kid? What did you actually become?

A.) I wanted to be a special education teacher, but as you know I am the owner/stylist of Main Street Beauty.

Q.) Who was/is your biggest role model?

A.) That would be my grandmother Betty Jones. She is the best women I have.

Q.) What are some of your favorite hobbies/how do you like to spend your free time?

A.) We do hot cocoa and cake pops at Christmas in Hohenwald during the Christmas parade and we donate the money to Alzheimer's research. I also do a lot for The Trevor Project, it's super important to me. As a person who has lost loved ones to suicide and it's the growing cause of death in the LGBTQIA community, if we can help the stigma around the community to help outside triggers inside. It's important to save lives and these are the important steps taken to help the LGBTQIA community feel like the alternative to suicide is a better choice.

And I love spending as much free time as possible with my husband.

Q.) If you could go anywhere in or out of the state where would it be? Why?

A.) New York. I have always wanted to see a Broadway show, and also I also wouldn't turn down a beach trip.

Q.) What is your favorite song?

A.) You're The Reason God Made Oklahoma - David Frizzell and Shelley West. David Frizzell is my grandfather.

Q.) What is one of your favorite things about living in Hohenwald?

A.) My job. I love my job, the people I get to hang out with every day and I get to show my talent as well as be creative with it.

Q.) What skill would you like to master? Why?

A.) Extreme Couponing! So I can save money on things I want and need. I would work really hard to be good at it.

Q.) Is there any life advice you could give to our readers?

A.) If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

Q.) Is there anything you would like to add that my questions may not have touched on?

A.) I feel like the people in Hohenwald don't know that I am an educator for Rusk. I go all over the country and teach for them. I also feel that the people of our community feel limited to hair care and i can help them with any and everything they want or need to know.
