Death reported at Lewis County Jail

A death occurred Saturday November, 5 2022 at the Lewis County Jail, just shy of seven months after a previous incident where an inmate was transported to the hospital where he passed away.
Capt. Todd Laster, Public Information Officer with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, stated no information was able to be given at this time and the matter is under TBI investigation.
