I got a call on December 29, 2022 nominating Jackie Lawson for her heroic role that morning before daylight! When I called Jackie to set up a meeting time, she said I'm no hero, I did what I think anyone whould do. She went on to say she is humbled to say the least. Hope you all enjoy getting to know her!

Q.) Can you tell me why you feel you were nominated for person of the week?

A.) Hootie Pole. My daddy has called me that all my life. I don't know why or where it come from.

Q.) Is there any life advice you could give to our readers?

A.) Appreciate every moment you have with your family because you can't get it back.

Q.) Is there anything you would like to add that my questions may not have touched on?

A.) I am so very humbled, but I am no hero or I don't feel I am. I am so thankful that I, along with the man that called 911 and blowed his horn, got someone up. We did what we needed to do to get the Cramer family out of that house to safety.
