The Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

During the meeting, Lewis County Mayor Jonah Keltner presented the board with the county's annual contribution of $18,000.

That funding, which is generated by tourists through the county's hotel/motel tax, is allocated by Commissioners each year to assist the Chamber with its operating expenses.

For the last 45 years, the Chamber has been a vital asset to Lewis County by supporting local businesses, organizations and various community events and activities.

Chamber membership is open to everyone, and provides numerous benefits, such as an increased visibility in the community, customer referrals, networking opportunities, access to Chamber newsletters, and all-around business support.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce can contact Executive Director, Debbie Landers at 931-796-4084, or visit the Chamber website at https://hohenwaldlewischamber.com.
