It seems there are lots of birds coming back into the area and maybe this is a sign of coming springtime, I surely hope so. The temperatures during the day have been reasonable and even some warm enough to venture outside without a heavy coat but the nights have still been in the low twenties and some places even lower. The buttercups or daffodils as some call them have gotten pretty and this is the way they were last year. Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day and received flowers or some other treasure from those who love you. Wishing that this week will be one filled with sunshine and warmer temperatures.

The Girl Scouts will begin having booth sales this during the coming weeks and we hope if you missed getting to order that you will come see the girls and get your cookies, will list booth sales on FB and other media for your convenience. Thanks for all the help with the cookie sale.

Thanks to Mattie Burns wife of the late Joseph Burns, son of Mary Wade, whose daughter contacted several of the cousins and family members to get together for a sort of family reunion which took place on Saturday at the Little Swan annex there was several in attendance and of course plenty of food and many brought pictures and picture books for all to see. This was a very great thought and I hope we can do in again one of these days. Sometimes we put things like this off till many are gone and we cannot enjoy the fellowship of our relatives as we should. I won’t attempt to name them all but there was Burns, Carrolls, (Clayton)Whitehead, Warf, (Clayton)Tiller, Qualls, Little, and others I am sure I missed but we all had a great time.

Praying for your family to have a great week and enjoy the warmer weather that the weather people predict for the next several days. Hopefully we can all begin to enjoy the warmer weather and be able to be out some I for one am tired of the cold days and nights. May God bless and watch over you all.
