Jonathan King Richardson was born on November 29, 1978 to Allyson King Richardson and Larry "Rick" Richardson and he was soon welcomed by his adoring sisters, Kristin and Kerry. Jonathan left this life on February 13, 2023, at St. Thomas surrounded by his family and dear friends.

Jonathan attended Maury County Public Schools and was a proud member of the 1997 graduating class of Central High School. During his growing up years, he was very involved in local sports where he especially enjoyed playing baseball and soccer. In 2001, Jonathan graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in English.

He had a fierce passion for all varieties of music, theater, and the written word, and his "Young at Heart" spirit held a lifelong love for Super Heroes, Marvel Comics, and anything related to Star Wars.

Jonathan leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father and stepmother, Ruth Richardson; sisters, Kristin (Tim) Lenart and Kerry (Clint) Harris; niece, Allyson and Maddie Lenart, Eliza Harris; nephew, Jackson Harris. He also leaves behind his precious girlfriend, Kristen Cothern and her daughter, Riley Lee.

Jonathan's extended family includes his step-brothers, Matt Spitzer, Jon (Stephanie) Spitzer; step-sister, Emily Spitzer; and step-nieces and nephews, Christopher, Hadley, and Layla Spitzer, Simon and Miriam Spitzer, and Analeigh and Wyatt Walker.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents, James and Betty King, and Gene and Helen Richardson.

A celebration of life service was held for him on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the service starting at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home on Trotwood in Columbia. Williams Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences can be given to the family at williamsfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to Amyloidosis.org or to the Friends of Maury County Animal Shelter.
