Power pole inspections underway

MLEC working to ensure power reliability for those they serve

 

Beginning March 1, 2023, Power Pole Maintenance Company will start electric pole inspections on behalf of Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative in Lewis County. Work is estimated to take two months.

"Identifying and correcting problems such as weakened or broken poles before they create an outage goes a long way in controlling costs and keeping the lights on," says MLEC System Engineer Brent Warf.

Power Pole Maintenance Company vehicles will be marked with an "MLEC Contractor" logo. Contractors will carry identification cards and be wearing yellow vests with the PPMC logo. The evaluation t...
