Herbert Leon Horner, a resident of Hohenwald, passed from this life on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the age of 87 at St. Thomas Health in Centerville.

Herbert was born on March 7, 1936, to George Horner and Louise (O’Guin) Horner, in Hickman County. He grew up and began working at the sawmill. For most of his life, that’s where he worked. He enjoyed showing racking horses, watching the races (both Nascar and dirt track), and any type of sport that could be watched. He was a wonderful dad and an even better “Papa”.
