New bricks at the War Memorial Building were laid on April 14 for Jack Labar, Franklin Buddy Sharp, Bill D. & Kathy Sharp and Ronald Gene Sharp. The Sharp family came out to celebrate the occasion. In attendance were Bill & Kathy Sharp, Jack & Mary Jane LaBar, Bobby & Sue Sharp, Wayne & Linda Brewer, Cricket Sharp with granddaughterer Christlyn Ortega, Lyda Mae Hooper, Mason Sharp, Staci King and Tina Sharp. If you are interested in having a brick laid, you may contact Wayne Brewer at 931-796-3010 or the Veterans Service Officer Randy Duncan at 931-306-1364. The cost is $40.00 a brick. You do not have to be a Veteran to have a brick laid, you can be a Patriot as well. All the proceeds go towards helping our community with the upkeep on \Veterans Hall.
