Clayburn Singles District Champ

Lewis County High School senior Bryson Clayburn beat Fairview’s Jordon Schlingsog on Monday (6-2, 6,1) to advance to the district semi finals in tennis on May 2.

He beat Mt. Pleasant’s Ben Hirsch on Tuesday, May 2, 3-6 (4-7 tie breaker), 6-1, 6-2.

He beat Fairview’s Ian Lowry in a tough match 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 to be the District 1 Class A Singles Champion. He will play in the regional tournament 5/15 in Tullahoma.
