Cub Scout activities

The Lion, Tiger and Wolf Cub Scout Dens and parents of Lewis County held their meeting last week to work on their Backyard Jungle and Call of the Wild belt loops. The dens made peanut butter and bird seed on pine cone bird feeders. When they were finished they took them out into Memorial Park to hang them from the trees for our beautiful birds to enjoy. The group hopes to be able to spot some of the birds when they come back.

Later this week, the dens and parents will be meeting to build bird houses, which will also be working toward the same belt loop goals. This should be just as fun as the...
