Jerry Brown Peery passed from this life, April 21, 2023 in Martin, Tennessee. Jerry was born May 2, 1942 to E.B. “Toy” and Sara Amacher Peery.

Jerry was preceded in death by a son Michael. He is survived by a son Lee Perry of Knoxville. granddaughters Katie Peery and Kayla Peery, brother David Peery (Beverly), sisters Barbara Baker (Pittman) and Joyce Hinson, wife Barbara, and several nephews.

Jerry was number 34 on Panthers basketball team and number 34 in the class of 1961 to pass away. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force immediately following graduation and spent the next four years in Alaska, Holland, Germany and other places.

After the Air Force he went to work at Lewis Products in Hohenwald. Then in 1982 he established Industrial Rubber in Jackson, Tennessee. He specialized in distribution of cut gaskets, industrial belts, and hoses of all types.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Adair Funeral and Cremation in Hohenwald on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11 a.m.
