On Friday, May 26, our Girl Scouts of Lewis County held their end of the year Candle Ceremony in the Memorial Park Community Building. The Candle Ceremony signified the scouts had learned the meaning of the scouting oath, promise and laws. We celebrated all of the individual achievements with the awards, badges and patches earned during the year, including the Top Cookie Sellers for each troop! Additional fun prizes were handed out to the scouts after the ceremony just before our delicious potluck supper was enjoyed!
