The following activities are scheduled for the upcoming week The following activities are scheduled for the upcoming week at Lewis County Public Library and Archives:

Show of Wonders Magic Show, Friday, June 16, 10:00 a.m. A truly magical experience awaits all ages when Lewis County Public Library and Archives hosts Rocky Clements and his Show of Wonders! Children and adults alike will be able to witness a thrilling magic show from Rocky Clements, a performer who follows in the tradition of the great magicians from before the age of moving pictures. History and mystery collide in this one-of-a-kind edutainment experience filled with riveting stories, exciting magic tricks, and plenty of audience participation to make the kids feel like part of the show.

Tuesday Morning Story Time, Tuesday, June 20, 10:00 a.m. Each educational session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is designed to teach preschoolers pre-literacy skills while promoting the love of books and reading.

Tween Reading, Wednesday, June 21, 3:30 p.m. Tweens age 8 to 12 will learn the meaning of family in “The Naked Mole-Rat Letters” by Mary Amato. Participants will read the book in session together, and guess what! You can earn 60 points if you log the reading minutes, and 20 points for logging the event code!

Junior Reading, Wednesday, June 21, 3:30 p.m. Beginning Readers will join Ms. Emily for a fun summer read aloud and have the opportunity to practice reading. This event is for readers age 6-8 and they will be able to earn 60 reading points, and 20 points for attending each program when they log the secret code.
