Girl Scout Adventures

On June 10th, the Girl Scouts of Lewis County went on a Discovery Hike and Picnic at the Discovery Center behind the Lewis County Museum. They ate sandwiches, chips and had drinks and Jello cups and pudding cups after they ate their lunch. They also went on a scavenger hunt through all of the cooling foliage and the fort before it was time to leave. Everyone had a great time despite the heat!

Recently the four troops of the Girl Scouts of Lewis County went on a movie outing to the Crockett Cinema in Lawrenceburg to see Sing II! All of the scouts enjoyed the movie, popcorn, candy and drinks. Afterwards, they enjoyed playing at the park and eating pizza until it was time to come back home.

The next activity will be a pool party, which we hope will be great fun and the girls are excited to get to swim and play in the water! And later in the month, a cookout/camping trip is scheduled!

The scouting experiences will help the girls to earn their badges and patches during the summer in preparation for the upcoming fall season.
