Lewis County Library Hosts Elephant Sanctuary

 

The Lewis County Public Library and Archives hosted the Elephant Sanctuary on Friday, June 23. The Sanctuary Representatives read “Elmer” by David McGee, a book about an elephant who learns to appreciate what makes him unique with the help of his friends. After the story, the Sanctuary staff and library volunteers lead program attendees in Elmer crafts and a parade through the library.
