“Rock The Lot” Free Concert and Fireworks This Saturday Featuring World Turning: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

The 5th annual “Rock The Lot” is back and better than ever on Saturday, July 1. Enjoy free family activities, delicious food trucks, live music by the Fleetwood Mac tribute band, World Turning, and an epic fireworks grand finale! All the fun begins at 5:30 p.m. at the City Parking Lot, 36 North Maple, when food trucks open and family activities start. The free concert starts at 7 p.m., and the evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating for the concert, and their dancin’ shoes!

World Turning is a “LIVE” Fleetwood Mac experience like no other. The Nashville-based band captures the amazing sound and spirit of Fleetwood Mac and has been entertaining audiences across the United States since 2013. World Turning meticulously studies both studio-produced and live versions of songs from the Fleetwood Mac catalog and incorporates the best parts into their positive, high-energy performance. This free concert by World Turning is an all-ages, family-friendly show featuring Fleetwood Mac hits, along with early classics, B-sides, songs from previous band members, and popular solo efforts from Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.

Attendees will have a vastly improved sound experience, as professional sound technicians and mixing engineers have been hired to ensure the best possible sound quality at this outdoor event on the City Parking Lot. This two-hour show includes dancing, singing, along with a bit of crowd participation that will leave everyone feeling happy and fulfilled. Sing, clap, fist pump the air, and move along to the irresistible beats and unforgettable tunes, or sit back and drift along to the harmonies with family and friends.

Before the concert there will be family fun and delicious food beginning at 5:30 p.m. The family activities will include free “train” rides on the Lewis and Clarke Express, free water slides, free face painting, and free fun photo stands. A variety of tasty festival foods will also be available at minimal cost, including cotton candy, snow cones, BBQ, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, chicken/salmon salads, sweet treats, lemonade, etc.
