I am very grateful to Lewis County for mowing along the sides of our roads rather than spraying poison to kill the roadside plants. The mowing protects the workers, protects our ground water, protects the wild life, insects and birds. I also want to thank the folks who manage to drive those big machines along the busy highways. I realize it takes a lot of skill.
