The Lewis County Public Library and Archives had a special guest at story time on Tuesday, June 27. Ollie the Otter from Tennessee Tech University and the Tennessee Road Builders Association came to teach us about road and seatbelt safety. Participants learned if they are "under 4 foot 9, it's booster time!" and that their seatbelts should be "belts to bones." Ollie and his friends taught the children and their parents about cell phone safety, how to be cautious when the orange cones are out, and each child got to wear a hard hat and get a picture with Ollie.
