Randall Christy

Randall Christy's last day as the Lewis County Litter Control Specialist and County Dog Catcher was July 14, as he is starting a new job in order to better provide for his family.

Lewis County Mayor Jonah Keltner stated, "Randall has done a great job keeping the Lewis County roads and dump sites picked up, and he and his partner average over 1,000 pounds of garbage collected each day they work. Randall has also done an excellent job taking care of stray, abandoned and vicious dogs out in the County. He has a great love and compassion for dogs, and has always went above and beyond to make sure they were properly cared for while in county custody. "

Mayor Keltner, left, and Lewis County COO Houston Hamblin, right, presented Randall with a certificate of appreciation for his service to Lewis County Government.
