October 31, 1974 ~ July 16, 2023

Sarah Jennifer Meisenheimer, 48, fondly known as “Sarah”, passed away in Waverly, Tennessee on July 16, 2023, to the late Norman and Zay McMillan. She shared a special relationship with her siblings Denise Bariteau and Tammy Boyd and always remembered her late brothers Gene and Luke McMillan with love and respect. Sarah’s stepmother, Cheryl McMillan also played a roll in her life.

In her own family life, Sarah was a devoted mother to her children, Dallas (Dianna) Meisenheimer, Dalton Meisenheimer, Sarahlynn (Brandon) Downs of Hohenwald, also her non biological children of Hohenwald, Blake (Kneily) Ivey, Bradley (Hannah) Chapman, and David Henderson. As a MeMaw she showered endless love and affection to her grandbabies Roselynn, James, and Jolynn Meisenheimer.

Sarah’s interests were as varied as they were passionate. She loved spending time with family, by the river; floating and fishing, cooking fantastic meals. Sarah’s presence brought warmth and happiness. She was a loyal and loving friend especially to Katrina Chapman, who she had a special bond with. Their bond was unbreakable, they’re family combined shared countless of memories and laughter. Sarah’s favorite saying was “A Fist in the Air, And A Finger to The Sky.” This quote allowed her to face challenges head-on and her desire to reach for the stars. She was a woman of strength, resilience, and unwavering positivity.

The family will be having a celebration of Sarah’s life at their family spot on the river at a later time. It will be a time to gather and honor Sarah’s memory, share stories, and reminisce about the beautiful moments she shared with us.

Her bright light will continue to shine in all the hearts she’s ones touched.
