Newest Virtual 4-H Project Announced

Lewis County UT Extension released some exciting news this week! 4-H’ers can now join the newest virtual 4-H project beginning this fall: Outdoor Recreation Shooting Sports!

Open to 4th-12th graders who enroll in Tennessee 4-H, the new projects promises to be of much interest in areas of outdoor recreation and shooting sports as well as forestry, wildlife, and fisheries.

Beginning in October, meetings will be held by zoom on the first Tuesday of each month. Topics to be included are: Conservation and Ecology on Deer, Trout, Crappie, and Bass Fishing, Rabbit and Squirrel Hunting, Trapping, Knot-Tying, Fishing Lures, Turkey Calls, and Camping!
