Robert “Bob” D. Patton will visit the Lewis County Public Library and Archives on August 19 at 1 p.m., to promote his memoir titled Living Positive with Imperfection. Mr. Patton will share his journey from growing up in Riverside and earning his high school diploma from LCHS through becoming a university professor and politician. Copies of his memoir will be available for purchase.

A professor emeritus for the College of Public Health at East Tennessee State University, Patton has published seven books. Living Positive with Imperfection is his latest book which explores over six decades of his life. Despite many setbacks in life, Patton never let those obstacles prevent him from forging ahead. This story of his life shows how he developed and lived a strong moral code that has guided him on many adventures throughout his life.
