The Lewis County High School Panthers opened up their 2023 season under first-year head coach Ronnie Yeiser against the Community High School Vikings on Friday night, August 18th.

The Panthers struck on the first play from scrimmage as quarterback Brycen McDonald found Fletch Kelsey streaking down the left sideline for a 52-yard touchdown and Micah Godfrey scored the two-point conversion to put Lewis County up 8-0.

McDonald would throw a dart to Kobe Feichtinger later in the first, a 26-yard strike to score and give the Panthers a 14-0 lead.
