Kendrick Tries hand at watermelon
This year was the first time for Karen Kendrick to try her green thumb at growing watermelons. Kendrick grew a watermelon that hit the scale at 41.6 pounds, 17 inches long and 40 1/2 inches round. Kendrick's seconded largest was 30.4 pounds. Kendrick has really enjoyed growing the watermelon this year and plans to continue this every year.
