Loyse Marie Ingle, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in Linden, on August 22, 2023, just days after celebrating her 95th birthday. She was born August 16, 1928, to Doug Rodgers and Gertrude Chandler.
Loyse was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Edith Louise Gray, Pearl Baker, Annie Ruth Noble, and Nell Roden, her brothers Walker Rodgers, and Ralph Rodgers, and her husband Troy Ingle. She is survived by her sister Shelby Jean Byrd of Beardstown, her sons George Murray and Tony Murray (Mildred), several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Loyse dedicated 50 years of her life to Henry I. Siegel's, where she was known for her diligence and commitment. She was a woman of many interests, including yard work, crocheting, making quilts, and cooking. She found solace in reading the Bible and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She always felt the need to take care of everyone, even her roommates while in the nursing home.
Loyse was a loving, kind, and generous woman who touched the lives of many. She is now free of pain and stated she was ready to go to Heaven and meet the Lord.
Funeral service was held on Friday, August 25, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel, in Hohenwald. Burial followed in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
