TLC Hair Salon

Imagine coming into work at your small business to find money missing, then watching the security camera footage to see who took it was the same man walking the streets of Hohenwald in a tin foil hat and Scream mask days before. That's exactly what happened to local salon owner, Taylor Swanson. On September 12 at approximately 11:06 a.m., Officer Osborne and Investigator Bridges responded to TLC Hair Salon on East Linden Avenue where they were met by Mrs. Swanson who stated she was missing $100 in cash as well as a security camera. The camera footage showed that at approximately 3:08 the morning prior, Norris Endsley of Lewisburg, taller male with short cut hair on the sides, wearing a gray hoodie with black sleeves and a red undershirt with sweatpants was inside the establishment. While watching the video of the suspect inside the business, Officer Osborne recognized the clothing from a previous call involving Endsley on 9/11.

The subject was later picked up at approximately 1:00 p.m. when Officer Pace and Osborne spotted him entering a store on Main Street. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail. When asked if he wanted to talk about the salon, he told officers he was having trouble with social security about money and had made a bad decision. He informed that he left the camera in one of the other rooms and did not take it with him. Endsley also admitted to using hair clippers inside the business to give himself a haircut. Warrants for burglary and theft were obtained and served to the county jail.
