Perry County Sheriff's Office

Makes Drug Arrest Perry County

According to Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems, "Last night at 7 p.m., Narcotics Investigator Stockstill and Deputies with the Perry County Sheriffs Office and TN Parole Officers conducted a search at the home of Jason and Tina Urban on Highway 412 west. Located on the same property was a camper, that was occupied by Bobby and Ashley Elkins. Investigators and deputies found and seized a large amount of methamphetimine and fentanyl inside the homes and a large amount of drug paraphernalia. A total of 5 individuals were arrested and booked at the Perry County Jail. Their bonds have not been set at this time.

I have a great team of dedicated officers and proud of the relationship we have with our TN Parole officer. The Sheriff had this message for those on probation, "In Perry County, we are going to hold those on probation and parole accountable. If you have accepted a plea of probation to keep from serving time, I encourage you to follow and abide by the rules of your probation. We will be visiting and checking in."
