The Lewis County Middle School Panthers traveled to Loretto to face the South Lawrence Stallions on Tuesday, September 19th.
After the teams exchanged possessions early in the first quarter, the Stallions mounted a drive into Panther territory and scored on a 12-yard run to give South Lawrence a 6-0 lead.
The Panthers would drive midway through the second quarter and tie the game on a 2-yard dive by Gavin Coker to make it a 6-6 game.
The Stallions would respond late in the first half, scoring on a 10-yard run to reclaim the lead at 12-6 as the teams went into the halftime break.
