Cuts Ribbon with Chainsaw

A new business has opened its doors to the community, and they did so in style.

On Thursday, November 2nd, several members of the community, friends and family gathered at 600 Swan Avenue to support Lewis County's newest addition to the outdoor equipment world, High Forest Equipment. Owners Chris Lomax and Branden Davis celebrated the occasion by cutting the Grand Opening ribbon with a chainsaw. Lomax is an experienced entrepreneur with a successfully running business, 2C's Septic. Davis' experience is unmatched, as he trained under the Zimmerman's, who owned and ran the equipment repair shop, James' Saw Shop, for many years.

They have several rental items available, and they also buy and sell used outdoor equipment. They are ready to service and repair your small engine equipment, including: extendable pole saws, gas auger, pressure washers, commercial back pack blowers, skid steers, excavators, tractors, hedge trimmers and more.
