Charles Edgar Staggs was born on February 2, 1953, in Hohenwald, the son of the late Fuller Staggs and Edna Keaton Staggs. Charles was united in marriage on July 1, 2000, to Annie Staggs. He was a man of the Church of Christ Faith. Charles enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening, and cooking. Charles honorably served his country in the United States Army. After his military service Charles worked as a truck driver.

Charles departed this life on November 4, 2023, at the age of 70 years, 8 months, 12 days.
