Rhonda Bass of Highland Corporation presents a monetary donation to Librarian Crystal Nash

Highland Corporation Charitable Foundation recently made a $1,000 donation to Friends of the Library to help expand and renovate Lewis County Public Library and Archives. The expansion project, "Building for the Future, Preserving the Past" will improve study and educational programming areas, enhance the preservation and access to county archive materials, and make technological upgrades throughout the original 50-year-old library and archives structure. With this faithful donation, the expansion fund now stands at $434,450, but the first phase of construction will require $750,000 so much work remains to be done. The total cost for the project (all three phases) is $1,000,000.

The Highland Corporation Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization that developed out of a mission to help other people. Highland Corporation office staff, Fuel Transport Employees, and Fast Stop Market employees contribute to this organization to help people in the areas where employees live and work.
