Cut Ribbons On New Facilities

The Tennessee Brazilian JuJitsu Academy celebrated their Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting, Monday, November 20th. Students from all classes, ages 5-95, were in attendance for class, and the Academy held Adult Open Mat for anyone wanting to give it a try. Those attending enjoyed watching matches, a tour of the facility, face-painting, popcorn and more. James Balmez won a free GI during the prize drawing.

TBJJA is open Monday through Thursday for students aged 5 and up to learn the Brazilian martial art. Not only does it improve overall health, but students are making new friends, learning to be mentally present and thinking critically, and it also is great grappling training for actual combat. The first week of training is free for those interested in giving it a try at 550 East Main Street. ** Ray and Rachel Casias established TBJJA in 2009 in Spring Hill. Owner, Clint Natschke has been with them since 2011 and wanted to bring the family atmosphere that they have built to our hometown of Hohenwald.
