Michael Everett McCaig

Emergency personnel were summoned to Gray Road Friday, December 15, for a welfare check. after the stepson of the individual could not be reached by phone.

Lewis County Coroner Lori Grillo was called to the scene and reported that Michael Everett McCaig was deceased and had been for some time. His stepson had regularly kept in contact with McCaig after the death of his mother Janet McCaig in May. The last time the stepson talked with Michael was at Thanksgiving.

It was reported the McCaig was from Robertson County.
