Alton Brent Staggs, aged 73, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024, in Centerville with his wife by his side. He was born on February 10, 1951, in Lawrenceburg, to the late Elvie and Mary Louise McClain Staggs.

Brent dedicated 43 years to law enforcement, a testament to his love and commitment to justice and public safety. Brent also served his community as a volunteer firefighter for 17 years.
