You could help them do that.....by joining the SHIP/SMP Volunteers!

South Central Tennessee Development District provides the training and the opportunities. You just need to be willing to help those in your community.

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program is a nationwide program that provides free and objective counseling & assistance to people with questions or problems with their Medicare & other related health insurances. SHIP/SMP does not sell insurance and are funded by federal grants from the Administration for Community Living.

SHIP/SMP will be hosting a New Volunteer Training session Thursday, March 7th & Friday, March 8th, 2024 at their office in Mt. Pleasant.
