February 25, 1954

W.T. Starbuck was officially installed as Acting Postmaster for the Hohenwald Post Office. The position became vacant following the death of Jack Collier.

The American Legion sponsored a "Back to God" program at the LCHS auditorium. The speaker for the occasion was Beacom Jones of Nashville.

Mr. and Mrs. Harville Griner announced the birth of their son, Stephen Douglas.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gallaher reported that they caught a fox trying to come into their house.

Funeral services were held for Fred Clay, 48; and for Mrs. R.D. Willis.

Ladies blouses were on sale at H.L. Rasbury...
