Annie Ruth Goodman Cotton, age 88, of Pace Florida, formerly of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday February 21, 2024. She was a native of Lewis County and was preceded in death by her husband, E. B. Cotton. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Demps and Verlie Floyd Goodman; brother, Dempsy Goodman, and a granddaughter, Sara West.

She was a member of Kingwood Church of Christ and was a 1954 graduate of Lewis County High School. Mrs. Cotton was a former Telephone Operator at Alvin C. York Medical Center for over 35 years.
