Rusty Isbell, Administrator of Elections in Lewis County, reports that 1,113 residents voted in the Republican Presidential Preference Primary concluding on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in Lewis County. Twenty two voted Absentee, 287 participated in Early Voting and 804 voted on Super Tuesday. Donald J. Trump received 1,035 votes, Nikki Haley 69, Ron DeSantis 7 and Chris Christie 1.

In the Democrat Presidential Preference Primary 127 participated with 117 votes for Joseph R. Biden and 10 Uncommitted. 8 voted Absentee, 35 voted in Early Voting and 81 voted on Election Day.
