The 3rd annual appreciation lunch in honor of Vietnam War Veterans Day was held Friday, March 29 at the Elks Lodge (416 Swiss Colony Road). Local Vietnam, Korean, World War 2 veterans, widows and spouses were invited to attend. City Mayor Danny McKnight and Lewis County Mayor Jonah Keltner signed a proclamation for Vietnam War Veterans Day recognizing those who served in Vietnam.
The event was hosted by Lewis County Veterans Services Officer Randy Duncan, and sponsored by Lewis County Government, the local American Legion and VFW....
